Shaping up the Top Team

A manufacturing firm in the Midlands is feeling the pressure of more stringent quality control and competitive pricing. Their top team recognised that the way they lead and manage their team will impact on the bottom line, so they engaged POD to facilitate a top team building programme.

The programme was comprised of a series of team-building sessions every quarter with one to one coaching between the group sessions. The participants engaged in discovering their leadership styles using Transactional Analysis and their role preferences within this team. The sessions were interactive and issues-based, helping them to identify their immediate challenges and clarify their roles and responsibilities. They have become more honest with each other and are working together, rather than in silos, and the company performance is improving every quarter.

However, changes in the senior management team present new challenges and POD continues to help them ‘grow people, grow profit’.
