Tne Business learning Laboratory – Case Study

Business Context

An ambitious and dynamic property development company aggressively expanding and undergoing major changes globally needed to break silo mentality, increase co-operation among remote teams and stop the loss of key talent to its competitors. They needed to act to minimise the potential loss of millions of dollars.

Challenge

Team members suffering from ‘change-fatigue’ and disillusioned about future direction needed to learn to communicate with team members in Luxembourg, Frankfurt, Paris, New York and London.

Solution

Learning to work with each other in The Business Learning Laboratory, taking risks, asking questions and seeing things from others’ perspectives. Getting feedback, being challenged by the facilitators and by their coaching partners helped to improve remote team working skills as well as sharpen focus on business goals.

Result

People who might not have been motivated to fight their battles have begun to tackle issues strategically and do not feel isolated or unheard. The business is seeing cost savings from sharing processes and information.
