Working in a global organisation means that there is greater interaction between people from different cultures. When making a sales presentation to an audience from different cultures there are factors that can hinder the success of the presentation. This Sales Learning Laboratory will develop skills and knowledge of making sales presentations and minimise the possibility of cross cultural misunderstandings.

Content: Style of presentation. Factual versus oratory.

Visual aids: Availability of technology. Alternatives to Powerpoint.

Audience interaction: Understanding non-verbal signals from the audience. Containing emotion. Use of questions.

Platform skills: Presenting in clear language. Establishing credibility. Checking understanding.
