The Developing Leader

A question that is frequently asked is “What is the difference between Management and Leadership?”. Most people feel, instinctively, that there is a difference but are unable to define it. This two-day programme explores the differences and the overlaps and helps participants to implement leadership in the day-to-day transactions they have with their team. It is followed by two sessions of one-to-one coaching with the course tutor.

 

Course Objectives

By attending this programme participants will be able to:

  • explain how management and leadership differ and how they overlap;
  • recognise and develop leadership skills in themselves;
  • clarify the vision for a work related challenge;
  • apply six steps of strategic thinking;
  • adapt their natural style and adopt an appropriate influencing style;
  • implement an action plan and measure the results.

Learning supported by:

Delegates will be supported by one-to-one coaching with the course tutor following the workshop. The delegate management system will be available to keep participants in touch with each other and each other’s projects.
