Bringing Values into the Team

gold bars icon

When organisations introduce values, or revise existing values, there is a period of implementation that can be difficult to manage. Values are used to indicate the type of conduct required from employees when working for the organisation as well as the type of conduct customers can expect when dealing with the organization. To introduce values successfully there must be widespread “buy-in” from all levels within the organisation. An effective way of achieving this buy-in is to run a series of Values Workshops with teams and delegate responsibility for creating action plans and implementing these. Working in teams, employees can interpret the values appropriately and identify the behaviours needed to bring the values to life within their department.

Course Objectives

By the end of the offsite, the team members will have:

  • developed a common understanding of the organisation’s values;
  • measured their team culture against the organisation’s values;
